Content and SEO Strategy

Goal: by end of FY27, KeyNova owns the first organic SERP for any meaningful query about running an Indian hospitality property. Inbound becomes a moat: cheaper than paid, stickier than ads.

1. Content thesis

We don't write marketing content. We write the encyclopedia of running a modern Indian hospitality business. Every article should be useful to a hotelier even if they never buy KeyNova. The byproduct is:

  • They visit our site
  • They subscribe to our newsletter
  • They share with peers
  • They google us before searching elsewhere
  • They become an inbound lead

2. Pillar topics

We organise content into 8 pillar topics. Each pillar gets a hub page + 10-15 cluster articles in Year 1.

Pillar 1 — Hotel Operations 101 (front desk, housekeeping, F&B basics)

  • Audience: GMs, owner-operators, new entrants
  • Search intent: educational, low commercial
  • Volume: high
  • Conversion: low individually, but feeds re-targeting + email list

Pillar 2 — Revenue Management for Indian Hotels

  • Audience: revenue managers, owners
  • Search intent: educational + commercial
  • Volume: medium
  • Conversion: medium-high (RM-curious buyers convert well)

Pillar 3 — GST + e-Invoice + Compliance

  • Audience: accounts heads, owners, CFOs
  • Search intent: high commercial intent + urgent
  • Volume: explosive (mandate cycle)
  • Conversion: HIGH — compliance pain converts fast
  • Highest-priority pillar in FY26

Pillar 4 — Channel Management + OTA

  • Audience: GMs, distribution managers, owners
  • Search intent: commercial
  • Volume: high
  • Conversion: high

Pillar 5 — PMS + Hotel Software Comparison

  • Audience: actively shopping
  • Search intent: commercial
  • Volume: medium
  • Conversion: VERY HIGH (bottom funnel)
  • Includes competitor comparisons + "switch from X to KeyNova" landing pages

Pillar 6 — F&B / Restaurant Operations

  • Audience: restaurant owners + F&B managers
  • Search intent: commercial
  • Volume: high
  • Conversion: medium

Pillar 7 — PG / Coliving + Long-Stay Operations

  • Audience: PG owners + coliving operators
  • Search intent: commercial
  • Volume: medium (rising fast)
  • Conversion: medium
  • Audience: forward-looking GMs, CTOs, owners
  • Search intent: educational + thought leadership
  • Volume: medium
