Pitch Deck Outline (12 slides + 5 appendix)

The standard B2B pitch deck — used at first executive meeting, partner roadshows, and tailored versions for each tier. Designer-built, rep-customisable, locked in v.1.0 once approved.

Deck overview

  • Length: 12 core slides + up to 5 appendix slides
  • Time: 18-22 minutes
  • Format: 16:9, Satoshi typography, Midnight Sovereign palette
  • Tools: Pitch, Google Slides, or Keynote (master template in all three)
  • Customisation: prospect name and 2 industry-specific stats on each delivery — never use a generic deck
  • Distribution: PDF only after meeting; never send "cold deck" via email without prior conversation

Slide 1 — Cover

Visual: KeyNova wordmark large + photograph of an Indian hotel lobby (real, not stock) + customer name in subtitle if customised.

Title: "India's Hospitality Operating System"

Subtitle (customised): "A conversation for [Customer Name] — [Date]"

Speaker notes:

"Thank you for the time. I'll spend ~20 minutes walking through what KeyNova is, why it exists, and how it could fit your operation. I want this to be a dialogue — please stop me whenever you want."

Slide 2 — The hidden tax of running hospitality

Visual: simple stat — 5.7 (size 200pt) with caption "The average number of disconnected systems a 100-key Indian hotel runs."

Body:

  • PMS
  • POS
  • Channel manager
  • Payment gateway
  • Accounting / GST
  • Sometimes: spa, banquet, asset, loyalty

Speaker notes:

"Most hoteliers we talk to don't realise how many systems they're running until we list them. Then a second realisation hits: every integration between these is a manual reconciliation, a swivel-chair step, a place where errors hide."

Slide 3 — What that costs you

Visual: stat grid

  • 22 hours/week spent on reconciliation (typical 100-key property)
  • ₹3-5 lakh/year in vendor + integration costs
  • 45% front-desk staff turnover (re-training cost)
  • 6+ months to roll out a brand standard change across properties

Speaker notes:

"These numbers come from our customer interviews. They show up in your P&L as 'general operations' but they're hiding a much larger pattern. The hotelier's day is 30% reconciling things software should do for them."

Slide 4 — Why now

Visual: four converging arrows pointing at "2026"

  • GST e-invoice mandate tightening to ₹20 Cr in FY26 (from ₹50 Cr)
  • DPDPA enforcement notified, full FY26-Q3
  • Razorpay / UPI is now table-stakes — old PMS struggles
  • Inbound tourism rebound + 62,000 keys of pipeline new openings

Speaker notes:

"This is the moment. Compliance is forcing a software refresh. Greenfield properties are choosing modern by default. Guest expectations have flipped to mobile and UPI. The question isn't whether to upgrade — it's when, and to what."

Slide 5 — Introducing KeyNova

Visual: product platform diagram (one screen, 10 modules visualised).

Headline: "All of hospitality, one platform."

Body:

  • Built in India, for India
  • 10 modules: PMS, POS, channel, payments, banquet, spa, asset, CRM, RM, analytics
  • Cloud-native, mobile-first, multi-language
  • Open API; data residency in Mumbai
  • 99.9% uptime target, 99.95% on Enterprise

Speaker notes:

"One platform. Whatever you turn on, you get. Whatever you don't, you don't pay for. One login, one bill, one source of truth."

Slide 6 — Built for India

Visual: 6 compliance/locality logos in a grid

  • GST e-invoice + IRN
  • DPDPA compliance
  • CERT-In 6-hour breach reporting
  • Razorpay / UPI native
  • Hindi + Tamil + Telugu UI
  • Aadhaar-compliant KYC

Speaker notes:

"These aren't features. These are operating realities in Indian hospitality. We've engineered them into the platform's core — not bolted on. The next vendor that promises e-invoice 'next quarter' will still be promising it next year."

Slide 7 — How it looks every day

Visual: screenshot collage — front-desk, mobile app, KDS, dashboard, owner mobile view.

Headline: "Designed for the people who actually use it."

Body bullets:

  • Front-desk: 3-click check-in
  • Housekeeping: Hindi mobile app
  • F&B: tablet POS + KDS
  • Owner: real-time KPI on phone
  • IT: open API, single sign-on

Speaker notes:

"Our biggest design principle: every screen is for a person, in a role, in a moment of operational pressure. Reception at 9pm, KDS at peak dinner, owner at 6am checking last night's revenue. Each gets a UI designed for their moment."

Slide 8 — Proof: who already runs on KeyNova

Visual: logo grid (named customer logos, 12-16 of them) + one prominent customer quote with photo.

Quote example:

"We switched off eZee in 14 days. Twelve months later, we've cut our reconciliation overhead by 70% and our front-desk training time in half. The Hindi UI alone was worth the switch." — Priya Sharma, GM, [Hotel Name]

Speaker notes:

"These are real customers. We will arrange any of these calls for you. Talk to people who switched from eZee, IDS, Hotelogix — and ask them what their first 90 days looked like."

Slide 9 — How implementation works

Visual: timeline graphic, 14 days for a single property

Day 1-5 Day 6-9 Day 10-12 Day 13-14
Kick-off Configure Train Go-live
Data scope & migrate Pilot shift Full ops

Body:

  • 14 days for one property (Pro tier)
  • 12 weeks for chain rollouts (8-12 weeks pilot + phased)
  • Migration toolkit for eZee, IDS, Hotelogix, Djubo
  • Parallel-run for 30 days during cutover
  • Customer Success Manager assigned Day 1

Speaker notes:

"Implementation is where most software deployments die. We've systematised it. There's a checklist, an assigned CSM, a hotline to the founder for the first 30 days, and 30 successful migrations behind us. We move at the speed your operations allow."

Slide 10 — The economics

Visual: 3-year TCO comparison bar chart

YearToday's stackKeyNovaSavings
Year 1₹15 lakh₹9 lakh₹6 lakh
Year 2₹15 lakh₹6 lakh₹9 lakh
Year 3₹15 lakh₹6 lakh₹9 lakh
Total₹45 lakh₹21 lakh₹24 lakh

Numbers customised per property in deck for prospect.

Body bullets:

  • Per-key pricing, transparent
  • Includes all modules — no add-on surprises
  • Multi-year and prepay discounts available
  • 90-day money-back if not happier

Speaker notes:

"The headline isn't the unit price; it's the consolidation. Six vendors become one. Most of the savings come from eliminated integration cost, reconciled staff hours, and vendor management overhead — not from the sticker price."

Slide 11 — Roadmap and partnership

Visual: roadmap timeline (next 12 months) + partnership / customer commitment quad.

Body:

  • AI revenue agent — Q3 FY26
  • Hardware-as-a-service bundle — Q4 FY26
  • Multi-language expansion (TA + TE + VI) — Q2 FY26
  • Marketplace / app ecosystem — FY27
  • Customer Advisory Board — quarterly input on what we build

Speaker notes:

"What you see today is just where we are. We ship every two weeks. Customers on our Advisory Board steer the roadmap. If you sign now, you're not just buying today's product — you're shaping where we go."

Slide 12 — The next step

Visual: simple call-to-action card

Three offers:

  1. Sandbox trial — 14-day pre-seeded sandbox with your property data
  2. Reference calls — talk to 3 customers in your segment
  3. Pilot at one property — 90 days, parallel-run, no risk

Speaker notes:

"Here's what I'd suggest. You don't have to decide on the platform today — you have to decide on the next step. The lowest-friction next step that gives you real evidence is a sandbox trial. Want me to set that up this week?"

Customisation rules

MUST customise per deck delivery:

  • Slide 1 — prospect name + date
  • Slide 3 — at least one stat specific to their segment
  • Slide 8 — at least one customer in their segment (or adjacent)
  • Slide 10 — TCO math using their current vendor list + property size

MAY customise:

  • Slide 5 module diagram (highlight modules most relevant to them)
  • Slide 11 roadmap (emphasise items that match their pains)
  • Appendix selection

MUST NOT customise:

  • Brand standards (logo, colours, fonts) — never edit
  • Slide order
  • Claim language without product sign-off
  • Pricing slides without VP Sales approval

Delivery best practice

  1. Open with their context, not our pitch. "Last call, you said X — that's why I want to walk you through this."
  2. Pause at slide 3 for reaction. Don't plow through.
  3. Slide 7 is the demo bridge. End it with "Want to see this live?"
  4. Slide 10 is where deals are won or lost. Don't rush the economics.
  5. Slide 12 is a real decision. Don't accept "we'll think about it."
  6. Send PDF within 2 hours of meeting, with a customised summary email.

Maintenance
